The herbs in the tea blends will help the body to accelerate the healing and rejuvenation process. We recommend light to moderate physical activity including stretching and breathing exercises while fasting. Plenty of rest allows the body to optimize the healing process while on the fast. We recommend that you take supplements that don’t require food and electrolytes while on the fast. Record weight on the morning of the first day of the fast and on the morning of the 8th day before you break the fast.
HOW TO FAST
Drink a cup of Body Detox in the morning and a cup of Body Defense in the afternoon or evening. Drink approximately 70 ounces of spring or distilled water throughout the day while on the fast.
HOW TO PREPARE HERBAL TEA
Bring spring or distilled water to a rolling boil and steep tea in a cup covered for 15 to 20 minutes. We don’t recommend adding a sweetener to the tea. The sweetener will disrupt the healing process and break the fast. Helpful tip: drinking the tea warm will curb hunger pangs while on the fast.
